About the Author

Father Robert Voigt holds masters degrees in English, Greek, and Divinity. He has written for national publications over the past forty years and is the author of seven books. He is the author of three other parish histories: Sacred Heart, Arban; Holy Angels, St. Cloud; Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Opole. He was pastor of St. Joseph's parish, Pierz, for seventeen years, wrote the history of the Pierz community for its centennial in 1965 and now adds twenty-five years to that book in Pierzana II. ​
